WELCOME to the Greater Atlanta Rose Society website!  Thank you for taking the time to view our site.
Our members share a common goal - the enjoyment of roses and spreading that enjoyment to other gardeners. We accomplish this education and promotion through our monthly meetings, special events, rose show, garden tours, newsletter and Consulting Rosarian program.

2012 Rose Show Schedule 

 

 

 

Each weekday at noon host John Lemley brings 'a plateful of classics and a variety of sides' in the new WABE-produced City Café. This new arts, culture and classical program airs Monday through Friday from noon to 1 pm and is just the place for news headlines, commentary and the latest in what's happening in Atlanta.  AND THIS FRIDAY, May 4, 2012, there is going to be a special broadcast featuring our rose show title The Rose Song Book, with various rose songs being played during the hour.  There will be excerpts from the interview that took place in Henry and Jessie’s garden with John Lemley - a must hear!!  Listeners will call in and tell of their special memories regarding roses.  Don’t forget to turn your radio stations to WABE 90.1 FM to hear this  poignant broadcast!  Click here to link to the City Café web page http://pba.org/programs/city-cafe-wabe-901-fm.
